To comparatively analyze plant defense responses to biotrophic fungus Golovinomyces orontii and necrotrophic fungus Botrytis cinerea invasion. Two time-course transcriptional data were integrated with Arabidopsis protein-protein interaction (PPI) network to identify conditional PPI sub-networks that reflected plant immune responses to G. orontii and B. cinerea. These two conditional PPI sub-networks were named as G. orontii conditional PPI sub-network (gCPIN) and B. cinerea conditioanl PPI sub-network (bCPIN), respectively. It is hoped that, the comparative analysis of gCPIN and bCPIN can provide some new hints in deciphering the molecular mechanism of plant immunity against pathogens with different lifestyles.
