Tutorial

The website is designed to interactively explore the graphic files constructed in our work which includes two major parts: a scatterplot and three protein-protein interaction networks. For the scatterplot, you can selective display hubs through the select box on the left side of our page. For three networks, you can interact with our network models with mouse and select a gene (node) or network components (group) through toolbox at the left side of our page. More information about these scatterplot and networks can be found in our paper (see About us).

Instruction for the scatterplot

Basic operations for the scatterplot

  • Choose hubs to display by the fileter panel on the left
  • Hover your mouse on a node to show its information

Instruction for network

Different colors represent different network components for the common response network

Basic operations for the three networks

  • Use your mouse to move and scale the network
  • Hover your mouse on a node to check its label and degree
  • Click a node to get more information about it

Search & Selection

  • You can search a node in the network with an AGI number
  • For gCPIN and bCPIN, red nodes respresent hubs and the other nodes are colored with blue. You can display hubs or none-hubs alone through the toolbox "Group Selector" at left side of the page
  • For the common response network, nodes with the same color are belong to a network component. Through the toolbox "Group Selector", you can check a network component's members and interactions among them alone.
